In some previous posts, I wrote about "celebrating the diversity of the children", "what is intelligence compound (multiple intelligences)", and "a simple way to recognize the type of child intelligence."
The next question, if you already know the tendency of children's intelligence, keep what?
Well, if you already know, then we (hopefully) can facilitate children more effectively. For each type of intelligence have different needs, which could not be diseragamkan for granted. We cannot menggeneralisir that learning should be a book and sit still/quiet.
This is the learning needs of children in accordance with the type of talent:
Intelligent child Language (linguistics)
Thinking through words, indulgence: reading, writing, telling stories, playing word.
Needs: book, record tools, stationery, paper, diary, chat, storytelling, dialogue, discussion, debate, the story, the film.
Mathematical Logic-Savvy Child
A way of thinking: through reasoning. Hobbies: experimenting, FAQ, logical puzzle solving, numeracy.Needs: books, materials for the experiment, experiment, simulation games, puzzles, manipulative activities, materials science, a visit to the planetarium, the museum of science.
Spatial Smart Children
A way of thinking: through the impression and image. Hobbies: designing, drawing, doodling, mebayangkan.Needs: art, LEGO, video, film, slide show, games of imagination, a maze, puzzle, illustrated books, a visit to the art museum.
Kinestetis-Intelligent child physical
A way of thinking: through the somatis sensation. Hobbies: dancing, running, jumping, making building, fingering, moving the hand signals.Requirements: playing the drama, moving objects, assemblies, sports, dancing, games, physical experience associated with the sense of touch (tactile experiences), a garage/mechanic, practice (hands-on learning).
Intelligent Children Musical
A way of thinking: through rhythm and methods. Hobbies: singing, whistling, humming, tapping-ketukkan hands/feet, listen.Needs: singing along, choir, concert, headlined concerts, playing musical instruments, listening to podcasts, video.
Interpersonal Savvy Child
A way of thinking: by way of tossing the idea to others. Hobbies: leading, organizing, linking, spread influence, be a mediator, partying, chatting.Necessity: friends, game groups, social gatherings, social events, competitions, internships, organization.
Children Sometimes Intrapersonal Intelligence
A way of thinking: relate to the needs, feelings, his aspirations. Craze: compile goal, meditate, daydream, plan, thoughtful.Needs: secret places, time outs, individual projects, the planned activities themselves, those choices.
Older Smart Naturalist
A way of thinking: through the nature and landscapes. Hobbies: play pets, gardening, researching nature, observing animals, care for the environment.Needs: access to nature, interactions with plants/animals, gardening, nurturing animals, hiking, gardening equipment, hiking, nature lovers, mountain climbing.
