What is The Reason a Family Choosing Homeschooling?

Homeschooling is a "new thing" in the world of education in Indonesia. Naturally, many people assume and would like to know. And included in it is a fault because it is already prejudice, more personal assumptions or just follows to read about homeschooling less diverse.

In such a condition, the duty practising homeschooling is increasingly growing. Practitioners not only need to strengthen themselves in the process of educating children, but also educating the public to better understand the homeschool "correctly".

There is currently no survey and data on the reasons families in Indonesia choose homeschooling. Some impressions on TV preaching about why the artist chose homeschooling because it wants to develop a career. But the phenomenon of artist homeschooling just a fraction of the reality of homeschooling because most practitioners of homeschooling is ordinary families.

From observation in passing, there are various reasons for choosing Indonesia homeschooling family. There are choosing homeschooling due to practical reasons, for example: the child is crashing because of the trauma, school bullying, parents are sedentary work, and so on.

There are other families who choose to homeschool for reasons more philosophical/ideological: seeking a better education than school, wants to develop a certain educational model (religion, skills, profession), and so on.

Of course, many other reasons that may not have been mentioned. And quite possibly, the reason a family choosing homeschooling can be more than one reason.
